The Great Cup, GC32 arrive

The new year brings a new extreme series and an exciting new foiling catamaran. GC32 is aiming to shake things up and be the perfect class for owners that want an extra boost of adrenaline off their sailing experience.

With a world tour organised in some of the best sailing places and three other individual tours in different continents, GC32 is setting some new standards in racing series. Stay tuned to find out more.

Yorkshire's maritime city set to welcome Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust
The four new young people will join the voyage yacht Moonspray in Newcastle for the journey down the coast to Hull. The stopover in Hull has lots of resonance for the charity, as internationally renowned yachtswoman and Founding Patron Dame Ellen MacArthur began her first solo voyage around Great Britain from Hull in 1995.

Edinburgh hosts Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust for Scottish stopover
Over the next three months the 17 crews of up to five different young people a week, will complete a 2,400 mile voyage Having joined the yacht in Stonehaven the previous weekend, the crew, seven of whom have sailed with the Trust as young people in recovery from cancer, arrived into the Royal Forth Yacht Club on Thursday to a warm welcome from locals and marina staff.
