New staff at Simpson Singapore, (l to r) Della Rudgee, Aileeen Toh, Desiree Goh Simpson Marine
Simpson Marine, Asia’s leading yacht brokerage company, is pleased to announce the appointment of three new staff in the Singapore office, adding significantly to the headcount.

Della Rugdee joins the company as Junior Broker. To date, Della has six years of experience in the yachting industry. While studying, Della worked with a yacht company doing administrative work and events planning during the school holidays. It was these experiences that made Della pursue her studies in the maritime industry and later graduated with a Diploma in Maritime Transportation Management. Della joined Simpson Marine in March this year and will be bolstering the sales and brokerage team as yacht business continues to ramp up.

Aileen Toh joins Simpson Marine as Marketing & Events Manager. Aileen has nine years of experience in marketing, events and communications, having extensive exposure to the planning and executing of marketing programmes, events, campaigns and exhibitions. A large part of that experience was given over to the luxury goods industries, including the boating industry, which Aileen is already familiar with, having participated in major international trade shows in the past including Boat Asia and Hainan Rendezvous. Aileen graduated from the University of Canberra, Australia, with a Bachelor of Communications specialising in Advertising & Marketing Communications. Aileen will be heading the marketing and events department.

Desiree Goh joins the company as Group Listing Secretary. A graduate in Tourism and Hospitality Management and a resident of Adelaide, Australia for the last eight years, Desiree has experience in the marine and boating industry. Whilst living in Adelaide, Desiree worked for a number of years as an Accommodation, Administration and Marketing Coordinator at a major marina. Desiree will add to the administrative efficiency of the fast-growing brokerage department.

Paul Whelan, General Manager of Simpson Marine Singapore said, 'We’re delighted to welcome these new members to our local team; they will make a positive contribution to the continued success of our business here in Singapore. Simpson Marine continues to expand in all areas of operations to meet the demands of our strongly growing business and especially cater to our new yacht customers this year'.
