Henri Lloyd and the Royal Yachting Association are delighted to announce the continuation of Henri Lloyd’s partnership as the Official Technical Clothing Partner to the RYA Junior and Youth Racing Programmes, a successful partnership which commenced in 2011.

The partnership will see Henri Lloyd exclusively supply clothing to the prestigious RYA Junior and Youth squads as well as RYA supported International Teams attending major International regattas all over the World.

The RYA Junior and Youth programmes continue to grow from strength to strength enjoying medal winning success at international level, demonstrating significant strength and depth across the classes having won over 60 World, European and International regatta medals during 2012, as well as finishing top nation at the Fourstar Pizza ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships in 2012. The programmes also continue to feed the British Sailing Team in the Olympic Classes with highly talented and motivated young sailing stars of the future.

Henri Lloyd’s involvement in the programmes promises to help continue that success by supplying clothing to the RYA Junior and Youth Racing Programmes culminating in ensuring RYA Volvo Team GBR, the British Sailing Team for the 43rd ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship in Cyprus 2013, is supplied with the very best technical and shore-side apparel to enable them to fulfil their potential. Henri Lloyd also intend to exclusively supply the RYA World Class Junior and RYA Volvo Youth Sailing programmes with squad clothing for all sailors from the RYA Zone (super-regional) and Home Country Squads right through to international teams at senior youth level.

Paul Strzelecki, Henri Lloyd’s Joint CEO commented: 'Henri Lloyd have been delighted with the partnership with the RYA Youth & Junior Programme over the past two years and the continuation of the partnership, reinforces our commitment to supporting the grassroots of sailing, we hope that our emerging UK sailing talent can benefit from our innovative performance clothing.'

RYA Youth Racing Manager Duncan Truswell added: 'We are delighted to continue our long and strengthening relationship with Henri Lloyd. Having been involved supplying clothing to the RYA National Youth Squads in the mid-late 1990’s and always been passionate supporters of Youth Sailing, they make a great fit for us.

'I hope that the Youth and Junior sailors of today will feel a huge sense of pride and achievement wearing the British Sailing Team logo on Henri Lloyd gear, they have an ever expanding range of great product range for an array of Technical functions which we hope will enable our sailors to be more comfortable afloat and ashore, and thereby perform better.'
