Our favourite boat show in the whole world is the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show. It is like no other, with a large percentage of eight to 15-year olds, with many young siblings often dragging their parents down the aisles.

It is a dull overcast day in Lonon with rain showers, but inside the heated halls of the Alexandra Palace, the fabled 'Ally Pally', around 5,000 visitors will gaze at touch and feel a couple of hundred different sailing dinghies today and a similar number tomorrow.
