A mixed day on the water today at the Phuket King's Cup - a little bit of this, a little bit of that. A little bit of haze, a little bit of sunshine, and a little bit of breeze. Long reaching courses for the Cruising divisions, and more windward/leewards for the Racing classes. The biggest treat of the day was seeing Sunshine under a full spread of sail, tramping along with a bone in her teeth.
Question: how does Sunshine fly 11 sails (we counted) with a mere half dozen on deck and a couple of extras polishing the brass as she forged along, while Jelik has 20-odd crew to look after just two sails at a time? Answers on a postcard, please!
