Clubs might be eligible for new flood grants announced by David Cameron earlier this month.

The Flood Support Scheme will provide grants of up to £5000 to homeowners and businesses that have been flooded between 1 December 2013 and 31 March 2014 provided they meet the conditions of the Scheme.

Government has now released details of the Flood Support Scheme which will be administered by local authorities.

Clubs may be eligible for the following grants under the Scheme: Repair and Renew Grant, Business Rates Flooding Relief and the Business Support Scheme.

If you think that your club could be eligible for any of the grants then you need to contact the clubs local authority to find out what steps to take.

The Repair and Renew Grant is being provided to fund additional flood resilience or resistance measures and does not relate to the repair of damage made by the current floods.

For more information on applying for any of the grants contact your local authority.

If clubs need any assistance please contact Mandy Peters at mandy.peters@rya.org.uk in our legal RYA Website

French. Reunion is a Suburb (department) of Paris. Population 844,000.

This is day 13 since leaving the mid Western Australian town of Carnarvon. Remote region. Beautiful town. This is day 13 since leaving the mid Western Australian town of Carnarvon. Remote region. Beautiful town. Kept cooler by the strong south winds, which make the trees bend and grow to the north. Carnarvon is nice, especially the months of September, October, November, and December. The wind is strong. Often near gale strength, with squalls and blue skies.
