Byte CII World Sailing Championship comes to Royal Varuna, Thailand

You are now looking at what will be on offer at the 2015 Byte CII Worlds! Block out your calendar for 4th-10th July 2015 as this is when the Byte CII class will be visiting the premier sailing club and centre of sailing in Thailand, the Royal Varuna Yacht Club (RVYC) for the prestigious 2015 Byte CII World Championships. The club has one of the best sailing areas in Asia with warm waters and fair winds and the event is set to become a must do event for the 2015 sailing calendar.

The Byte CII is a fast, technical, single-hander; designed for lighter weight sailors. A fully ISAF (International Sailing Federation) and internationally recognised racing class it attracts some fantastic sailors from around the globe. But the class focus is not just about performance and racing, it is also about enjoyment and development!

The Byte CII Worlds will attract sailors with their coaches and family from around the globe. Limited charter boats will be available and more information will be posted shortly on how to reserve a boat on the website.

The Byte class is also launching an exciting 'Take a Byte' new nations support program. This program will not only help support sailors attend the Worlds but also provide support in coaching and developing local fleets. To find out more please email: laura.caldecoat@gmail.com.
