Thundercat racing - 2015 RYA P750 British Championship UNiCOM
ThunderCat Racing is heading to Boscombe Beach, on Saturday 18 – Sunday 19 April to kick off the first two rounds of the RYA British Championship.

The two day event will see over 20 two-man teams from across the UK battle through the conditions from 11.30 to 15.30 each day to gain points for the prestigious British Championship title. Racing faster and harder than ever seen before - Thundercat Racing is the ultimate global Inflatable Boat Race series.

As teams and their followers flock to the shores between Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers to compete against each other, the event promises to be the ultimate spectator experience, with it's close to shore circuits ensuring all the action can be seen from the comfort of your deck chair!

Competition is extremely tight, keep an eye out for some of the anticipated front runners; ‘Team 33’ local Lymington boys Bligh Julius and Charles Hatfield and ‘Team Microlink’ James Tapp and Ed Redman from Chandlers Ford who all have previous titles under their belts. There is also our wild card ‘Team Multi-spark’ and three Welsh teams coming to conquer the English coastline. For the full line up visit www.thundercatracing.com, pick your favourite team and come and support them! Expect colour, fun, excitement and lots of action on the beach free of charge!

Thanks to local sponsors ‘Multispark’, a Poole based company specialising in electrical discharge machining. Managing Director, Dave Sheldon is also a keen race competitor, and series sponsor ‘Microlink’ from Chandlers Ford have been involved for the past 11 years assisting the growth of both the community and sport.

Born out of South Africa over 30 years ago, the sport has now spanned to more than 18 countries all adopting the same UIM rules and classifications.

If you fancy becoming part of this amazing community that travels around the UK and afar! We are always looking for volunteers, competitors and officials to help at any events.
