UKSA - Sarah Ayton with Nic Douglass - Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week Rick Tomlinson http://www.rick-tomlinson.com
Adventures of a Sailor Girl is now in Cowes for Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week - here's her Day 2 report of the iconic sailing event.

Today's interviews:

The fun one... Sailor Girl does the Harken Grind Challenge

Sailor Girl took on the Harken UK Grind Challenge on Day 2 at Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week! We will have to see how she progresses on the leader board over the week!

Sarah Ayton OBE - UKSA Ambassador:

UKSA is the official charity of Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week, and wow, amazing to chat with UKSA Ambassador Sarah Ayton, a multiple Olympic medallist, OBE and mum about this brilliant organisation while on the ground here in Cowes!
Enjoy, Sailor Girl

Will Myles - UKSA Head of Branding

A chat with UKSA head of branding Will Myles on what the UKSA is and just what sailing can do to help people... unbelievable! Get involved! #seachange or donate at www.uksa.org - Sailor Girl

VX One:

Roger Phillips sailed a VX One for the first time today and absolutely sent it with his crew Tom Compton, and Nathan Batchelor from Ovington Boats. Love this class, I was very jealous of the action in the sports boat class today!

J70 Class - RAF Benevolent Fund Spitfire:

The last time I caught up with Simon Ling was at the J70 Worlds in La Rochelle a month ago. Great to catch up with him again in Cowes, and to see so many J70s out on the water!

Dragon Class at Cowes Week:

Happy Birthday to Mark! Was great to chat to Mark Hart and his skipper Gavia Wilkinson-Cox, the defending champions in the Dragons at Cowes Week!

Quarter Ton Class - Blackfun:

Boat of the day in the Quarter Ton class today was Blackfun, great to talk with the tactician Mark Lees on the racing at Cowes Week, and the Quarter Ton class in general!

Leading IRC 0 - Tokoloshe II

And onto the weapons! I had a chat with David Bartholomew who is running and doing tactics on Tokoloshe II for the IRC 0 class on the phone, as the boat is living in Hamble. Gorgeous 'little' GP42!
