49er National Championship – day 2
Once again Weymouth harbour provided the wind and the weather for a perfect days sailing. 15 to 18 knots of breeze blew over the beach and allowed the fleet to sail four races.

John Pink and Rick Peacock stamped their authority on the fleet by winning all four races. Dylan Fletcher and Alain Sign has a good day which has pulled them up to second. Lauri Lehtinen and Heizzi Soininen from Finland also put in a good performance bringing them up to third.

Seiko Speed Challenge.

After the days racing teams took part in the speed challenge using the new carbon rig. The wind had eased and no team did better than Simon Hiscocks and Rick Peacocks time from the previous day. Two watches were presented by Seiko head man Rob Wilson to Simon and Rick.
