Team Legato set to arrive on Saturday

The prospect of a strong nor’westerly Mistral tonight threatens to delay the arrival of Tony Bullimore’s catamaran TEAM LEGATO until late afternoon tomorrow (Easter Saturday).

Injured crewman Slava Sysenko from Bristol, England, who has been nursing a broken leg since last Tuesday, remains determined to finish THE RACE. The 47 year old Ukrainian is resting in Tony Bullimore’s bunk within the central ‘God Pod’ while his skipper sleeps on the floor.

The Societe Nautique de Marseilles, the oldest yacht club in France, has promised a grand welcome for the crew when they complete their circumnavigation.
