The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) and global shipping and logistics service provider, GAC have further enhanced their commercial partnership with the Club’s logo now placed on the Team GAC Pindar Extreme 40 Sailing Series boat. This boat is helmed by Will Tiller, the young Kiwi skipper, who will also compete in the Youth America’s Cup in San Francisco later this year.

The Extreme Sailing Series is an annual global racing event, widely known for its ‘stadium sailing’ concept using 40 foot catamarans that race on tight, in-port courses in cities around the world. The Series visits places such as Singapore, Istanbul, Turkey, Nice, France and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and regularly attracts the attention of sailors and the general public alike who are fascinated by these hi-tech craft.

GAC Pindar is the official shipping and logistics service provider for the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and provides a full range of operational capabilities to manage the movement and transportation of yachts for those competing in events at the Club and around the world, as well as general marine leisure craft owned by its members.

The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club is recognised as the only club of this nature to have its logo appear on a competing boat during the Extreme Sailing Series, and this further enhances its image as one of the premier yacht clubs in the world.
