Susan Hood Trophy Race - Congratulations to the trophy winners

by Lake Ontario Offshore Racing on 13 Jun 2014
The Out of Bounds crew - 2014 Susan Hood Trophy Race Lake Ontario Offshore Racing
For the Susan Hood Trophy Race, 2014 will be remembered as a long slow race that was filled with many wind shifts and changes under predominantly light and variable winds.

It is fitting that a team of former Albacore racers with solid experience at the Provincial and National Championship level used their dinghy skills with a lighter yacht to win this year’s Susan Hood Trophy.

Out of Bounds is an O’Day 322 skippered by Terry Wagg and his wife Pam from Hamilton Bay Sailing Club. This is their first venture into offshore racing and from all reports was an excellent experience. Crew on board are, Mike Thomlinson, Kevin and Cheryl Soldaat and Adam Mitchell.

Susan Hood Trophies will be handed out at this year’s LOOR Banquet in September. Division Flags will be handed out at the LO300 Post Race Celebration on Tuesday July 15th at PCYC.
