St Moritz Match Race, the sixth stage of the World Match Racing Tour, takes place on Lake St Moritz in the Engadin Valley. The final three events kick off next week, from 30 August to 4 September 2011. The Wave Muscat is gearing up to tackle the world championship head on.

The St Moritz Match Race has always been one of the preferred events of skipper Torvar Mirsky and his team, with the fast paced Blu26 Swiss lake boats suiting their style. The tricky mountain venue doesn’t lack challenges though, with the surrounding bringing gusty and sometimes unpredictable winds. Not to mention the competition, with a number of the world’s top match racing teams all fighting to be dubbed 'King of the Mountain' by the end of the week.

Mirsky is approaching the task with a lot to prove. 'This season has been a really turbulent one for all of us, but now that it is starting to settle down, we are going to finish what we started. I know all of my guys are in great form, and I am really looking forward to the chance of bringing home a top Wave Muscat Team St. Moritz Match Race World Match Racing Tour website
