Sailing in Australia just keeps getting better…

The third Australian leg of the Clipper Round the World series is just ending. Switzerland claimed its first win and podium position of the Clipper 2013-14 Race.
Extreme Sailing Series - The world tour will celebrate its eighth year on the international sailing calendar with eight iconic Host Venues spanning three continents, over eleven months and nine elite level teams representing seven nations, who will compete to win the coveted Extreme Sailing Series trophy.
Australia will be one of the teams and one of the venues, more news below and later in the week.

Breathing down the necks of Lloyd Clark and Andrew Hunn’s Tasmanian crew is Guido Belgiorno-Nettis’ Sydney based Transfusion, runner up to Voodoo Chile at both the opening QLD states and the One Design Trophy out of Middle Harbour Yacht Club last November.
