Message: Mullet boats are so cool. Nothing else has the combo of tradition and crazy over powered seat of your pants racing.

Sail-World: From what we have seen - not a lot. You keep the wingsail head to wind at all times, and when she is being launched the four guy ropes (from each corner of the platform) are kept tight. The shore team do get a bit more anxious, but when we saw her launched in 25kts on just the second day it was all very slick, considering that it was new science.

Message: Hi,
The construction of the mast and sails look amazing!

I have just built and about to paint an aerofoil mast with a width of 580mm x240mm x15.6m high to fit onto a 10m Malcolm Tennant 'Red Shift' cat that I have nearly finished building.

I would be very interested in the controls you are using on your boats to see if I can adapt your ideas on my boat.

Any info would be useful.

Thanks

Michael

Sail-World: Maybe you could see some of the controls on the underside of the wingsail which we published earlier in the week (sorry about the focus of some of them!). can anyone help, please?

Message: Great effort for a first go!. Nothing wrong with it, even if the audio of Bob was a bit quiet. It added to the authenticity of the interview. Keep it up. Cheers.

Sail-World: We have had a good response to these iPhone interviews, and are working on the obvious audio difficulties. We hope to be able to bring readers full media conferences (in 10 minute YouTube segments) plus boatpark interviews. Stay tuned!
