Sail Mandurah in March Notice of Race released

by Sail Mandurah in March Media on 18 Dec 2012
Cruisey Cruisers – the cruising classes will sail relaxed passage races at Sail Mandurah in March. Sail Mandurah in March Media
Sail Mandurah in March Regatta has released the Notice of Race and Entry Form for the inaugural event, to be held on the March long weekend, second to 4th March 2013. The catchword for the new regatta is 'fun', with enjoyable sailing in a beautiful location and an active social program. Sail Mandurah in March will be family-friendly, and will suit all keel boats, including cruising yachts, with or without spinnakers, and cruising multi-hulls.

Two classes will be racing more seriously, however. The Sports Boat and Soling classes will be conducting their Western Australian State Championships as part of the Sail Mandurah in March Regatta, and while the cruiser fleets are doing relaxing passage races, the Sports Boats and Solings will be enjoying the nip and tuck of short-course racing.

To top off the program, the inaugural WA Dufour Muster will be run in conjunction with the regatta.

Entries for Sail Mandurah in March are now open with a low entry fee of $120 applying up to 31st January 2013.

The Notice of Race and Entry Form can be found on the MOFSC website.
