Yesterday was the layday at Hayman Island and crews took the opportunity to explore the delights of this island paradise.

Ron Jacobs, the wily tactican from Sword of Orion won the fishing competition with a nice haul of 1-2kg Red Emperor, Sweetlip & Coral Trout. Geoff Boettcher and his Secret Men's Business crew was much more successful in the laying about and drinking beer competition.

Today with a forecast of 10-15 knots from the South East, the fleet will be racing in two windward leewards, with Heaven Can Wait again expected to do well in the IRC compepetion.

Ausmaid after three wins, blipped with a fifth on Monday and the consistent Wayne Millar and his Zoe crew are keen to even up the competiion today.
