Quantum Design Group and Lewmar have partnered to sponsor the Middle Harbour Yacht Club’s Sydney Harbour Winter Series which commences this Saturday 10th May. A ten race series, winners each week will be rewarded with a great selection of prizes from both Quantum and Lewmar.

Raced on Sydney Harbour each Saturday throughout winter, the Series specifically targets the Sydney Harbour Club Racer who enjoys continuing their sailing throughout the winter months at a relatively competitive level. Yachts from all Sydney Harbour clubs are invited to join the pointscore or race as a casual entry each week.

Racing commences on the sound with scratch starts from 1100 hours. Course lengths are specifically tailored to wind strength. The series offers PHS, IRC and non-spinnaker divisions for the club racer and divisions are determined to ensure competitive racing delivered to all competitors.

Post-racing there is the Post Race Barbeque in the Members Bar, trivia quiz and raffles.
