Phew... looking towards the winter racing season
It is still blazing hot, the Sail-World team nearly turned from butter to hot oil last week.

Looking forward to Sail Port Stephens 11-16th April, ahead of the Audi IRC Australian Championships 17-20th April then it's Winter racing ahead of Sydney to Gold Coast race July 26th then it's Brisbane to Keppel August 1st, the 25th Airlie Beach Race Week 8-15th, the 31st Audi Hamilton Island Race Week 16-23rd and amazingly the eighth, that is the eighth SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week Aug 28th - Sept second 2014.

Oh so vividly do I remember Ian Stripey Grant telling the stories of the Cyclone at Hamilton island at Easter in year one and the fire in year two, so to be already into year eight for Magnetic Island is mind blowing.
We will all be thinking of you again Stripey as we head north.
Sean Langman is reviving the Sydney to Mooloolaba Race, it is heading north at the same time as Port Stephens and ahead of the Audi IRC titles, so that is a bust, but this is a multihull organised event with monohulls invited.
|SAILING - Sean Langman's TEAM AUSTRALIA's attempt to break the passage race record from Sydney to Hobart Andrea Francolini|
I dare say the fleet including Team Australia, will be a little faster than when I last sailed to Mooloolaba in 1997 with my IOR Farr 40 Witchcraft II in 1997, from memory we clocked up 114 hours and seriously ran out of food. Those were the days...

But now it's the A-Cat Worlds and Sail-World's Richard Gladwell will be on the water in Takapuna, catch his interview with Pete Burling and Glenn Ashby on A-Car foiling and at the same time the Hobie 16 worlds will be running on Jervis Bay.
A great week ahead and stay with us for all the latest news...
