We have news from all over the world, including London where the 2012 London Olympic Games open in just three days. If you're like me, you'll be wondering where the past four years fled to since Beijing . . . and how sporting strengths have changed.
This Olympiad, we trust that the wider Australian audience will cheering on our sailors, who are Gold medal favourites in three classes with as much fervour as our track and field athletes, hockey teams and swimmers.

Let's hope it proves a boon to sailing at all levels and washes down to attendance and membership at Yacht Clubs, participation in the sport and sales of boats and gear.
