The UK Series J Class racing lost a day due to ‘strong winds' while in Hong Kong a typhoon briefly threatened to disrupt the start of the HK Cruiser Owners' Association Macau Race (but didn't). We're a bit thin on sailing news in Asia at the moment, but see below for the announcement of the new Volvo 65 One Design, the ACWS racing in Newport, Kiteboard Slalom World Championships, a wrap on the J/80 Worlds, and more.
