 | | Sail Port Stephens Day One morning Sail Port Stephens Event Media | Sail Port Stephens 2012 starts today. We could report its going to be a postcard day for the 45 boat Commodores Cup cruising fleet, but overlooking the d'Albora marina in Nelson Bay, it is not, its pouring rain, with about two knots of breeze. Glad it Denis Thompson who will be making the course calls today. Full wet weather gear day.
Now pay attention, sit up straight, SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week 2012 runs from August 30th to September 4th.
Its a MUST DO regatta, there will be around 100 boats its is expected this year, with a food, wine and music festival element built into the event. You can enter on line NOW!!!
Best news we have this week is that Tess Lloyd is back on the water at the OAMPS Victorian Youth Championship 2012, with her crew Lewis Duncan coming third overall ... great news after Tess' serious injury at the Australian Youth titles in January.
