Industry, government, business and the media turned out to hear about the initiatives and innovations to the program for exhibitors and visitors in 2012. They were not disappointed and feedback from the day was that this year's event is a fresh new show for a new era - also a fitting lead up to the 25th celebrations in 2013.
Highlights announced at the launch include: Sunrise broadcasting LIVE from Sanctuary Cove, Friday 25 May with the full team and crew showcasing this year's event, free wi-fi for the 300 exhibitors, many thousands of visitors and media, PLUS there will be more than 60 national and international launches at the four day event.
According to Gold Coast Councillor Grant Pforr's bulletin post-launch, the Gold Coast stands to benefit significantly as well: 'This important calendar event last year injected more than $300 million into our economy and has eclipsed the Gold Coast 600 and Magic Millions signature events.'
