News from the America's Cup and from the Volvo Ocean Race fleet, currently in Sanya, China awaiting the start on February 19 of leg 4 to Auckland New Zealand. Just in - Team Telefonica has withdrawn from the practice race to change the boat's rigging. Skipper Iker Martínez said the team were being cautious because of the forecast for heavy and dangerous conditions for the start, and because two boats lost their masts during Leg 1. Stay tuned.

Italy's Luca Lalli aboard BLinsailing.com, alongside super tactician Lorenzo Bressani and crew Federico Michetti won the Melges 20 Miami Winter regatta in the USA, we have a preview from the Rolex Swan Cup and great images from Stefano Gattini (Primo Cup) and Carlo Borlenghi (RC44 Puerto Calero Cup). Jean Le Cam is the latest entrant in this year's Vendee Globe.
