Gold in Miami, ISAF World Cup standings and more sailing news

The Miami (USA) event of the ISAF Sailing World Cup has just concluded and the ISAF World Cup standings are of interest in this Olympic year.
The Miami event was successful with eight medals being won by Team GBR members. Gold went to Paul Goodison (Laser) and Lucy Macgregor, Annie Lush and Kate Macgregor (Womens Match Racing).

The next chapter of the Ben Ainslie story is due to unfold at the end of next month when an RYA inquiry will take place. The outcome could cost Ainslie his chance at his fourth Olympic Gold.
The Volvo Ocean Race fleet are heading to Sanya, China, while the Class40s contesting the Global Ocean Race are now on their way to Uruguay.
