Volvo, Sail Melbourne, AC45's – it's all happening

Perth 2011 is looming large, just a few weeks away. Australian crews did extraordinarily well at the first of the 2012 World Cup series, Sail Melbourne but now the action cranks up as the focus moves west. This coming weekend there will be 470 and 49er Australian Championships on the Perth 2011 courses.

Bob Fisher, the doyen of America's Cup journalism, who wrote for Sail-World at the 2008 Olympics and will doing the same for London 2012 reports on the prequel to the San Diego AC45 regatta.

San Francisco yachting photographer Chuck Lantz will again be on the water for us when the main action starts later in the week.
