As we move closer to the pointy end of the Olympic cycle, we are talking to sailors from around the World who are seeking to qualify their country and get selection for London 2012.
We have lots of interviews as we move closer to Perth 2011.
Today we bring you an interview with one of the locals Tom Slingsby, now in Perth, he came back from Europe via San Francisco, where he signed a contract with Oracle Racing for the AC 2013. Tom has bought a new A Cat to sail at the Wangi Wangi nationals with a bunch of the other AC sailors. Looking ahead the Hutchwilco Melbourne to Stanley Race and the Gosford to Lord Howe Race, both Rolex Sydney to Hobart qualifiers.
A giant sailing year ahead and the logistics in moving our reporting team around the world this year is going to be quite a challenge.
