La Charente-Maritime Bahia Transat 6.50 leg 2 has commenced from Funchal. Sébastien Rogues leads the Prototypes and Benoît Mariette leads the Series after leg 1.
Meanwhile Halvard Mabire and Miranda Merron onboard Campagne de France lead the Global Ocean Race fleet towards the next scoring gate off Brazil as the Clipper Round the World Yachts battle extreme conditions.
In Turkey Alberto Rossi's Enfant Terrible (ITA) currently leads the Farr 40 European Championship.
