Queensland's 2011 Season of Sailing has drawn to a close with the completion of Sealink Magnetic Island Race Week last night.
Interesting scenes yesterday when the 15 metre catamaran eDoc capsized. As a monohull sailor, boats with exit hatches underneath are always a worry. But skipper Gavin Lesueur was very positive and no harm was done. Bit different to seeing an F18 go over tho'.
All in all a great regatta. If you missed it make sure you are there in 2012.
The 2011 Heaven Can Wait 24 hour race and One Lap Dash are just over three weeks away.
