Entries are open for the 2011 Heaven Can Wait regatta (October 1st-2nd) on Lake Macquarie. Once again Nathan Outteridge and Tom Slingsby will be guest speakers at the Welcome Dinner on Friday night. Go to www.heavencanwait.com.au to enter your boat now for the One Lap Dash, where the Moth Squad is expected to lead the charge, tho the 18 footers will be seeking revenge or the 24 hour race, considered to be one of the toughest challenges outside the Sydney to Hobart race because of the numbers of sailing changes on the tight lake course which often sees quite challenging winds.
Am looking out over Nelly Bay at Magnetic Island. Its going to struggle to get warmer than 27 today beacuse of the 15-20 knot trade winds.
This afternoon we will welcome Jessica Watson to the regatta. We will hear more about Jessica's Sydney to Hobart 2011 campaign with Chris Leewin.
Looking forward to a great regatta.
Lots more news, enjoy.
