Gee, life is never dull in the sailing world is it?
Just as we were getting over the capsize and recovery of the fastest supermaxi in the world, Rambler100, comes the news that skipper Mitch Booth has parted company with the China Team entered in the 34th America's Cup.
Oh, and if that's not enough, the Volvo race organisers have just announced that there is a course deviation going to be instituted to avoid the pirate stricken Somali coast.
We have more on the plight of Rambler 100 in this edition including an update on our original story with video and images.

From two Irish newspapers we have spliced together a story on the righting of the supermaxi, which has left both her mast and keel behind in the Irish Sea.
One of the video clips, we have featured in the latest update, was taken just minutes before the capsize, and shows Rambler100 about to round the Fastnet Rock.
Conditions are not pleasant, but the seas are not too bad - at least on the video. What is apparent is the fog and murk and poor visibility - which possibly explains why some competitors could sail past without noticing the stricken yacht.

In another we can see how low Rambler was floating - again not easy to spot. From Sail-World's correspondent sailing in the race, we were told today that they were down to a trisail and No4 jib at times - heading for the Rock in 40kts winds, which are significantly more than reported.
Most of the fleet have not finished the race - only 50 as we write, and we will be continuing coverage for a day or two yet. Plus more stories from the weird world of sailing....
