World Oceans Day - come and gone
 | | World Oceans Day .. . | Yesterday was World Oceans Day. Did you celebrate? Did you remember? Did you even know? Well, don't worry - There's still plenty of time to do your bit over the next two years (that's the pledge) to make a difference to the declining health of the world's oceans by adopting the Seven C's – read the article on how.
If you have a sailing journey planned any time soon there's a great opportunity to take one or more of the famed weather guru Chris Parker's coming live webinars. It doesn't matter where in the world you are, just go to the Seven Seas U to find the times and details.

This week's edition sports some amusing incidents – read why the beautiful city of Venice is enraged by a Russian billionaire's yacht, how one schooner Captain ended up seriously embarrassed in front of his crew of students, and the sad end to a vintage yacht's journey to a Festival, dumping her crew into the cold waters of the Solent.
Much more too, so scroll down the page to see what catches your interest.
Sweet sailing!
