MarineBusiness-World SCIBS coverage, Melbourne ahead, Telwater enginesBarely have the last vestiges of bunting and brochures been cleared from the Marine Village at Sanctuary Cove and exhibitors are revealing their success. It was a show dampened by the downpours, but by most account, people were in the mood to spend or at least browse with intention. Numbers were down slightly, but organisers report positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors. More details will come to hand over the next few weeks.

If you attended, what were your impressions and opinions of this year's event? If you didn't go, let us know why. We'd like to know, so get in touch editor@marinebusiness-world.com
The hard working team Tetra was based in the massive Marinebusiness-World.com pavilion but also non-stop out and about in the streets, pavilions and marinas – even on water – covering the stories and the people who influence our industry. I am sure you saw the crew in their blue!?
We filmed almost 20 interviews, and have already posted many of these, plus we will be running more over the rest of the week. The interviews lend insight to the stats and facts and colour to the copy. Hope you agree and enjoy this new facet of our service.
There are plenty of diverse stories from the show, as well as the news from the rest of the world, including a preview of the Melbourne International Boat Show, over the June long weekend, Telwater's foray into engines with the Vortex range, the Queensland government's investment in a Superyacht portal, and exciting news about the launch of TetraMedia's latest venture: www.fishingboating-world.com with industry veteran and character, Dave 'Nugget' Downie as a major contributor, along with a team of seasoned anglers and experts.
LOADS for you this week, and more coming.Jeni Bone, editor
