There's nothing like some seriously close racing to get the pulse racing. It wasn't done in 40 kts of breeze, and it wasn't the Southern Ocean, but the narrow squeak win in R4 to Peter Backe and his crew in the BNP Paribas Match Racing finals last weekend was a showstopper. Sailing in second place all through the race, and then coming from behind to win by a lurch and whisker... bring it on! Wish there was more of this match racing stuff here in Asia...
Four years ago ISAF threw the Tornado out of the Olympic line-up. Now they've binned the Keelboat class - the Star. They could have just changed the bathwater, but no, they had throw away the baby too. Amazing - plenty of comment (below).

Or even (gasp) unsubscribe. or take off list
