Welcome to this week's edition of Sail-World.com's UK newsletter.

The Semaine Olympique Francaise conclude with Skandia Team GBR bringing home a clutch of medals, including gold for Ben Ainslie (Finn), Lucy Macgregor, Annie Lush and Kate Macgregor (Women's Match racing) and Alexandra Rickham and Niki Birrell (SKUD).

America's Cup: Match racing trials begin in earnest in Auckland

The name of the game today at the America's Cup Race Management trials was match racing, and the AC45s proved nimble with blazing speed.
