I used to turn my Hobie 16 over quite a often, so not really sure why they are so excited about flipping the AC45 down in New Zealand. Mind you, I guess that the all-carbon wing-sailed 45 footer is a tad quicker and rather more expensive than my second 16, all those years ago. Anyway, the recently published AC World Series schedule gives everyone plenty of time to get used sailing two hulls on the edge instead of one down the lead mine.

There are some more cats dukin' it out in Oman right now - the Extreme 40s are at it again, and of course the pictures are spectacular.
