Club Marine sponsors Export Awards, Freo boat show, Mustang reinventedThese days, consumer and dealer feedback via the internet has a lot to do with the development and progress of marine brands. It's never been so easy to communicate both with a brand and about it using social media and the 'blogosphere' and email and traditional means - walking up to the counter to complain for instance.
With this in mind, major and fledgling companies are revising their offerings and bringing out models that boast consumer-driven refinements. This week, we cover just a few of those, but stay tuned for a special feature on just how much consumers influence the various industries and how we can use this information to be more nimble players and present and promote what fits their appetite.
Also this week, information about the Club Marine Australian Marine Export Industry Awards, which are open for entries. AIMEX has revised the Award categories again this year with a new category 'Young Achiever' implemented to reward and encourage younger generations in the industry. Awards will be announced at the networking function on Thursday 28 July at Bayside Terrace, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Sydney (the first evening of the Sydney International Boat Show). Visit www.aimex.asn.au to download the application form.
