Welcome to the latest edition of Sail-World.com's European newsletter.
Pit stops for the previous leaders of the Barcelona World Race, Vibrac-Paprec 3 and Foncia. Estrella Damm Sailing Team now leads the fleet, followed by Groupe Bel and Mapfre. Jean Le Cam and Bruno Garcia on President were forced to retire after being dismasted.

Polish sailor Zbigniew Gutkowski, Operon Racing, has crossed the line in Wellington in second place after finishing Sprint 2 of the Velux 5 Oceans race.
Markus Wieser, Bunker Queen, finished second on a countback at the Dragon Worlds, held in Melbourne Australia. A good European contingent made the trip 'down under' with over 30 European crews contesting the championship.
We have the latest on the America's Cup including pictures and images of the AC 45 test sailing.

Velux 5 Oceans sprint two taken by Polish ocean racer Gutek Sarah Hames,  Velux 5 Oceans sprint two has been taken by Polish solo sailor Zbigniew Gutkowski in the solo round of the world race. Two World titles for young British sailor in Broo Musto Skiff Worlds Richard Gladwell, Sail-World,  Young British sailor, Daniel Henderson (21) has scored the double in the Broo Premium Lager Musto Performance Skiff World Championships, sailed from the Black Rock Yacht Club on Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne. Dubai Traditional 43ft Sailing Dhow Championships Sharon Allison,  Dubai Traditional 43ft Dhow Sailing Championship organised by Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) had Al Zeer swoop through the finish line next to the Burj Al Arab this afternoon (Friday) to score a win in the second round.
