Powerboat World Championships decided and all the latest Boating news
Don't know about all you people out there, but I really am finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that 2010 is about to be consigned to the pages of history.
It seems to my oft-befuddled mind that Christmas, 2009 was but a month or two back.
Time marches on, and so does Powerboat-World so step over the gunwale while we regale you with the latest news from across the planet.
No shortage of UIM news, with world titles decided in Class 1 offshore and H20 Formula 1; Those Middle East aces Arif Al Zafeen and Nader Bin Hendi have piloted ‘Fazza' to a triple world title and Finland's Sami Selio has claimed the F1 crown.

It's all here in detail.
Regular readers will have noticed my moaning and groaning recently as torrential rain continues to hammer wide parts of Australia.
Believe it or not, it could even be causing concern for one of the world's great natural wonders (no, not Bob Wonders), the Great Barrier Reef!
Seems run-off has the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park people rather concerned.
Across in Western Australia, that state's Department of Fisheries is to undertake an investigation into artificial reefs to determine their value or otherwise.
I also hear some local gossip that Queensland's Gold Coast City Council is considering a former Russian aircraft carrier, not that council is becoming aggressive, it wants to give said carrier the ‘deep six' somewhere off the coast to serve as an artificial reef.
Maritime authorities continue to issue warnings to those who do their boating on Australia's rivers; most are at peak height, most are very fast flowing and all without exception boast too much debris, so take care.
Queensland's award-winning boat manufacturer, Maritimo, headed by legendary industry figure Bill Barry-Cotter, has spread its wings again with the appointment of a South African dealer.
It's all happening, all around the world, that's for sure.
