The cards are starting to fall for the next America's Cup, and it's going to be interesting to see how the deck is shuffled. Team Origin and Azzurra have bowed out, but there are others waiting in the wings. We'll keep you posted. China's no 1 home-grown event, the China Club Challenge Match, ran up to and over the weekend - we have the opening shots here. And also a wrap-up of the new Phuket Dinghy Series (part of the Phuket King's Cup) and the Optimist Gulf Trophy in Qatar.

Phuket Dinghy Series - fluky winds at the first event of the series Phuket King's Cup Media,  Having supported sailing in the kingdom for many years, the Phuket King's Cup Regatta decided this year to take a grass roots approach and have established the Phuket Dinghy Series. Brit's Golden Team turn their back on America's Cup Richard Gladwell,  TeamOrigin, the yacht racing team established by Sir Keith Mills, and skippered by triple Olympic Gold Medallist, Ben Ainslie, have announced that it will not be challenging for the next America's Cup scheduled for 2013.
