A new World Champion and a busy time for dinghy sailors

Welcome to this week's edition of our Sail-World.com UK newsletter.

A busy time for the RS Association with various classes holding their championships. Reports and results on our website.

Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell collected a bronze at the 470 European Championships, the Laser Worlds concluded at Hayling Island, Ian Williams placed second at the St Moritz Match Cup and congratulations to Ed Wright who took the big one - the Finn World Championship!

The Volvo Ocean Race has appointed Rick Deppe to Associate Producer and Media Crew Member (MCM) Manager role for the next event. Be sure to check out the great vision on our website.

We have image galleries from events around the this week, well worth a look, and don't forget the vision and images from the Ladies PWA Final Tour event of the year.
