I'll be surprised if its not 26 degrees at Airlie Beach this afternoon. But I am less surprised to see that the eMarine-World story about the Swedish Blonde doing the Wild Thing at Airlie Beach was one of the top rating stories in the sailing world last night.
When you read it, and you will, think about truth in advertising, reminds you of the politicians.
We have the final provisional Airlie Beach results and will shortly have interviews and pixs. The boats are coming in very slowly,
Tomorrow the Sail-World team moves on to Hamilton Island, except for me, off to Qingdao, China the Olympic Sailing City for a Sailing Seminar until Tuesday. Qingdao has signed a $28 million dollar deal with the World Match Racing Tour. Asia is certainly very strongly on the sailing map these days.
Have fun at Hamilton Island, this will be the first one I'll miss in 16 years.
One thing is for sure the Trade Winds did not waste much energy this last week, so there should be plenty of breeze. Watch out for Whales in the Molle Channel on Saturday.
