Hi,
In August 2009, we discovered there was a lot of 'spin' coming out about Jessica Watsons campaign and we advised them there was a discrepancy in their releases.
Since Bob Fishers first story broke and we asked the questions again of the JW team and published our findings, there has been a media storm. We have received a lot of support from the media and there are many now who understand how they have been victims of that spin and some that still don't. We have received very strong support from knowledgeable sailors and from the marine industry.
Some of the yet unpublished stories about industry people who have dealings with the JW Management will no doubt come out in time.
Much of the criticism has come from people who have NOT read the full story.
However our story has stopped much of the spin and the claims of records, where there are none have gone away.
We now see there is a hate campaign suggesting you should stop advertising with Sail-World.com
We would appreciate you reading both of the stories attached.
Regards
Rob Kothe

This is no easy voyage. It is one whose demands would leave th... [more] Share this story
