Laser Sailor Tom Slingsby shines in light conditions.

While he has won two Laser World Championships and numerous regattas in strong conditions, over recent years Tom Slingsby talent in sneaking thru the soft stuff has really began to shine.

Andrew Dog Palfrey and John Bertrand were amazed at his ability at the 2010 Australia Etchells titles in the very light conditions and now he is showing how is done again, at the Farr 40 Worlds in the Dominican Republic, calling tactics on Guido Belgiorno-Nettis' Transfusion.

Interesting to watch how this regatta pans out. Looking ahead JB, Doggie and Tom will be amongst the favourites for the Etchells Worlds in Ireland.

But right now Australia's sailors are looking towards Hyeres.

Lots of news again today, so we will get out of your way.
