In the aftermath of last weekend's America's Cup, the cards and the personnel are being reshuffled. The CEO of BMW Oracle Racing, Russell Coutts, is saying everything (anything can happen now) and nothing (let's all talk about it). The one piece of concrete news is that Clube Nautico di Roma has been accepted as Challenger of Record for AC 34, and that means Mascalzone Latino and Vincenzo Onorato. After a number of Open Letters written by Onorato during the darkest days of the last years' legal wrangling in the corridors of the America's Cup – speaking up for common sense and sportsmanship - we are delighted to see this. Quite possibly there could not be a better Challenger of Record at this point.

The story about the SNG AROs ‘going on strike' isn't over yet. We'll bring you an update when we can, but information received suggests that the on-board video recording is ‘out there' and being looked at. Can you throw Rule 69 at the Assistant Race Officers? – it has been suggested! More, as and when...
