Welcome Sail-World.Com's New Zealand newsletter for 25 October 2009

There's a bit of everything in this edition.

We have a couple of America's Cup commentaries, including an Open Letter from Alinghi skipper, Brad Butterworth.

There's some images of the revamped BOR90, plus a bit of speculation as to the changes we are expecting to see when she is trialling next week.

The Coastal Classic is over for another year - we have a couple of video clips of news reports on the race.

The 29er class is having a good resurgence in New Zealand - we have their latest newsletter detailing new owners and who owns what boat in the fleet.

In USA, outstanding yachting commentator, Gary Jogson, has been elected President of US Sailing, and top navigator, Stan Honey has been put on their Board.

You can submit your event/regatta/class/boat news by Clicking Here - all copy will be published, please include a photo or three with a side over 1200px long. There's a new big icon on the home page of www.sail-world.com to make it even easier for you.

Open letter from Brad Butterworth on America's Cup reform
Brad Butterworth,
Some have been calling for a rewrite of the America's Cup Deed of Gift, offering the Defender their own vision for the sailing competition.
