Sail-World has announced the launch of another new site - Sail-World Canada - which is being operated by the publishers of three Canadian yachting and marine industry magazines. See the full story in this edition.
In Bermuda, the BlackMatch Racing team, have wriggled their way to the finals of the Argo Group Gold Cup. They came up against Team Origin, led by triple Olympic Gold medalist, Ben Ainslie, but in the Final were beaten by the English. In this issue we have full reports leading up to the Final, and will publish a series wrap-up on www.sail-world.com later today.

Tragedy off the new South Wales coast around 0300hrs on Saturday morning with the loss of two of Australia's top offshore sailors in the Flinders Island Race. We have several reports on the incident, as it unfolded, and the aftermath. At this stage the cause of the disaster is not clear - and probably will not be so until the coronial inquiry is concluded.
Our condolences to the families of those lost, and to the Australian sailing community.

In Palma, Quantum Racing (USA) have tied on points at the top of the leaderboard in the TP52 World Championships. We have full reports on the final outcome and the daily race reports and images in this issue.

USA's Golden Girl, Anna Tunnicliffe, has once again demonstrated her sailing versatility winning the Rolex International Womens Keelboat Regatta in Rochester, ahead of two other US crews. 35 crews from four countries competed in the regatta. In this issue we have daily reports, and images from the highly competitive event.

Anna Tunnicliffe at Int'l Women's Keelboat Championships: We Won Anna Tunnicliffe,  Anna Tunnicliffe reports on the competition at US Sailing Rolex International Women's Keelboat Championships. 'It was windy and rainy when we woke up this morning for the final day of racing. The rain stopped, however, in time for us to venture out to the racecourse. iShares Cup - Oman Sail Masirah takes control Event media,  iShares Cup - All is set for the perfect duel at the final event. A total of six races were staged inside the Almerian harbour on the second day of the 2009 iShares Cup final and with a good 10 knots of breeze the boats accelerated around the windward/leeward 700-meter course quickly, fully flying their starboard hulls on the finish line to the applause of the spectators.... TP52 Worlds - Matador beats Quantum Racing on countback Sabina Mollart-Rogerson,  It could not have been much closer when the Argentine crew on Matador lifted the TP52 World Championship on the waters they call home in Europe, the Bay of Palma, this afternoon. Rolex Int'l Women's Keelboat Championship: Tunnicliffe wins title Media Pro Int'l,  Anna Tunnicliffe (Plantation, Fla.) and her team of Molly O'Bryan Vandemoer (Redwood City, Calif.), Liz Bower (Rochester, N.Y.) and Debbie Capozzi (Bayport, N.Y.) have won US Sailings's 2009 Rolex International Women's Keelboat Championship. A frustrating attempt at a coastal race in very unsettled wind conditions was abandoned after seven miles and one hour and ten minutes of often heart-stopping racing. Sydney maxi yacht tragedy - Saturday afternoon update from CYCA Jennifer Crooks,  This afternoon, Matt Allen, the Commodore of the CYCA held a press conference at the Club in Darling Point, announcing that the owner/skipper of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Andrew Short and crew member Sally Gordon had perished when the 24.4 metre yacht hit rocks and ran aground at Flinders Islet at approximately 0255 hours this morning....
