Golden Gate Yacht Club's new uber-lawyer, David Boies, has filed an Appeal with the Appellate Division of the New York Supreme Court over the decision handed down on 3 August and also refers to the Appeal Court Decision of 7 April. Essentially Boies is questioning Kornreich's view that the Deed of Gift allows the Defender to change the rules of the regatta anytime up to the start of the first race... [more]
