We have reports in this issue on how the regatta on folded in its final days.
On the keelboat scene, Neville Crichton's new 70ft Alfa Romeo has cleaned up in the Copa de Rey regatta in Palma, Spain. We are featuring several image galleries of thei spectacular event.

On Friday, Alinghi 5 made an incredible journey across the Swiss Alps to Genova, Italy, slung under a helipcopter. It's a first for the America's Cup, and a sight that will probably never be seen again in the America's Cup.

You can read the sadness in our correspondent's report as the Swiss said farewell to their yacht, seeing her depart on the next stage of her campaign. We're featuring JPJ's images in this edition, plus two galleries of spectacular shots from Carlo Borlenghi - and there's the usual high quality Alinghi5 video.

Following the America's Cup venue announcement we have photos from on the ground at Ras al'Khaimah. While many have been quick to sheet Ras al'Khaimah to the sails of Dubai, our correspondents beg to differ. Judge for yourself.
America's Cup Legal has another episode in the New York Supreme Court this week. This time the script, this time, centers around the meaning of the phrase 'as soon as possible' in relation to the provision of a Customs House Registry certificate. Justice Shirley Kornreich has allowed a six hour Hearing. Can't see that one lasting the distance, however we will keep you posted, as always, on our website www.sail-world.com
Good sailing!
